Way to go Alcoma students, staff, parents and community members. We raised just under $1,300 for Terry Fox Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who donated and came out to walk/run. The weather was beautiful and the positivity was high. Students had fun with their friends and family on the track.
Rick Irwin from the Brooks Hotel, was busy BBQing with the junior high students for our welcome back BBQ. Delicious hot dogs and hamburgers were had by all. It was great for staff to visit with past and new parents.
Since the students raised above $1,000 they will receive a school wide PJ party, a school wide movie with desserts AND Mr. Irwin had to kiss Dorris the goat. Mr. Irwin and Dorris were great participants. There was lots of giggles that afternoon.
