The Grade 6 class were rewarded with a field trip to Sweet Tooth and taken out to lunch at McDonalds for their hard working running the milk and fruit/veggie program. The students are in charge of the program from putting the items in the fridge, to delivering to each class room and cleaning out the cartons daily.
The field trip started at the Sweet Tooth candy store in Brooks. The students learned about the candy business, toured the store and made hard drop candy and lollipops. Jovie, the owner, put on a great tour and it was a wonderful experience for all the students. "A dream come true".
After the tour, the students went out for lunch at McDonalds. It was a great day all around.
